Announcing the 2022 Granum Prize Longlist
October 26, 2022 — We are excited to announce the longlist for the 2022 Granum Foundation Prize.
The Granum Foundation Prize was established to help U.S.-based writers complete substantive literary works and to help launch these works. Funding is meant to provide a writer with the tools, time, and freedom to help ensure their success.
This year, we received nearly 1,250 applications from all 50 states and Washington, D.C., and the standard of work was exceptionally high among the entries. The longlist represents roughly the top 3% of entries from all genres.
The winner and finalists will be announced on November 9, 2022, with the shortlist made available next week. Finalists for the Granum Foundation Translation Prize also will be announced soon. Applications for our next round of prizes are expected to open in May, 2023.
